Purpose and main user community of the library

To preserve, enhance and make available the library and archive resources of the Dean and chapter of Hereford

Terms of access

Prior arrangement needed for historic materials. Lending and reference stock can be seen by walking in.

Opening hours

Tu and Thu 10.00-16.00hrs. 1st Sat in month 10.00-13.00hrs. Other times by prior arrangement.

Disabled access

Very good - Lift + disabled loo. May need help with front door (videophone entry).


No. membership is free and can be obtained by completing a form. Books can then be borrowed.
