Future plans

Plans are underway for a fully integrated public and university library, which will also include the county hall record office and the history centre. This means that both our  public branches are to be consolidated on one site, together with the county’s archaeology service and a multi-agency customer service centre. The concept has been developed jointly, by Worcestershire county and the university of Worcester (uow).

Building work set to begin in 2009 and completed in spring 2011. Further information available at http://Worcestershire.whub.org.uk/home/wcc-sp-project-vision
